Second of the 'Awaken the Sages' Series of six:
I. Phantom Forest [link]
II. Temple of Fire
III. Reflected in Dark Water [link]
IVi. Under the Well [link]
"After successfully awakening the Sage of Forest, the Hero of Time made his way to Death Mountain, the home of his sworn brother Darunia. Here, Link learns of the terrible fate endangering the Goron race - Ganondorf was preparing to sacrifice the Gorons to the Subterranean Lava Dragon, Volvagia. The only hope left for the village was for the hero to find the legendary megaton hammer from Goron folklore and slay the beast in the depths of the volcano."
Apologies that this isn't as good as the Forest Temple, but photoshop corrupted the file and I had to start over again, meaning I got very bored of drawing the same bits and sort of slacked off a little!
The quote "It's over, it's finally over..." comes to mind. I hate drawing fire. Please add it to the list of things that I can't draw XD
If there's any sort of constructive criticism you can give me I'd be happy to add your suggestions to the picture - I've been looking at it for so long I can't see what I can do to make it better.

Grats on getting it finished. I was worried that you would've been disheartened by losing the first version.
The fire looks brilliant, a style I've never before seen. The lighting is accutate too.

I did have something good to put here, but I forgot what it was...o wait.
The pillars are done so well; they look very realistic. And truth be told, you're much better at fire than I am. XD
Link looks AMAZING, except for one thing. Where's his sheild? Isn't it usually on his back? Also, Link is left handed, yet he has the hammer in his right hand.
You TOTALLY don't/shouldn't fix that, 'cause that would be hard and annoying.
The lighting is awesome. You should SO do a tutorial for us n00bs. XD

I chose to leave out the shield so that he looked more vulnerable, you might notice Navi is missing from both pictures too so he's completely alone
Thanks for pointing out the hammer, I don't think I could move it though because then it would be out of view... maybe he's just holding it with his right 'cause his left hand is tired of carrying it? Heh heh I love artistic licence XD

I love it!.. I you had problemd with the fire you can try using different Fire brushes, you can find them here at Deviant, but I think your fire is pretty cool.
